Road safety: 17 online driver education videos for Indian road users

Road safety: 17 online driver education videos for Indian road users Almost 10% of the global road traffic accidents occur in India. Much of the world wide web is full of sarcasm & mocking of the indiscipline driving on Indian roads. Unfortunately in since 60 years since independence the authorities have failed to publish a National Highway code. Licenses are given to anyone who can demonstrate an ability to use the clutch-accelerator, consequently the motor driving schools teach just that and no more. Concepts such as - blind spots, principle of MSM, the tyre & tarmac rule, 2 second gap and most importantly giving way are not known to the average Indian driver.

This site has been created with the purpose of providing driver education and training to all Indian road users. It is by far the most comprehensive website providing training in defensive driving. Learning simple road habits can make our roads safe and also free up congestion caused by traffic chaos.

At present 17 driver education videos aimed at changing the driving culture on Indian roads are available. The video are unique in that the footage is real life action from streets of London. We have copied the Western habits: Replaced the dhoti with denim, high rise buildings for Indian cottages, burgers and coke instead of Indian breads and perhaps sugarcane juice. Surely we can copy the Western ways of traveling too.

Who Moved My Cheese

Five years back one of my friend suggested me to read the book "Who Moved My Cheese".But unfortunately i didn't get a chance to read it till yesterday. While flying from Atlanta to Frankfort I got a chance to read this book. The story is really a master piece which will teach you so many things about you life .I have read so many self help books in my life but this story made a great impact on my life as compaired to all others.I will suggest all my frieds to read this book.

This is what I learnt

When we become successful and living a good life we seldom foget to think about the changes happening in our surrounding and in our life.So when a surprised changes happens we fail to handel that. The fear factor starts growing more and more because we loose our self confident and we have a fear that we may not succeed again. We afraid to take new chanllenges in life.Non of the changes happens surprisingly. Always it starts slowly without our knowledge. The change probably will not take us surprise if we will watch what is happening all along and we will anticipate the changes.if surprise changes are happening in place of staying at the old place and analysing things we should try to move in a new direction. In these situations we need to move beyond fearand we should feel that i came capable of do this and i will definitely do this.Imagining ourslf successful even before we succeed make our journey simple and it leads to it.Its always safe to look into new oppertunities as compaired to think abou the failed oppertunities and going for the same one.what you are afraid of is never as bad as what you imagine. The fear you let build up in your mind is worse than the situation that actually exists.it isnatural for change to continually occur, whether you expect it or not. Change could surprise you only if you didn’t expect it and weren’t looking for it.Noticing small changes early helps you adapt to the bigger changes that are to come

So this is the summary

Change Always Happens

Anticipate Change Get Ready For it

Monitor Change So That You Can Prepare For It

Adapt To Change Quickly The Quicker You Adapt, The Sooner You Can Enjoy .

Enjoy Change! Savor The Adventure And Enjoy The New Happenings

Secret of Success

In this world there are a lot of people they succeed in there life but ther are more people who could not .When I read a lot of biographies of successful people find a pattern. All of them have a same plan, same motivation and each of them follows the same step to achieve their goal.

Here are the steps I found.

Secret of Success Steps

Step 1: Identify Your Goal

Clearly determine what your goal is. Be specific. This a very difficult task.Unless you know what you want to be you can't move. You need to be specific in your goal. Lets take an example. Goal is to loose weight but this goal is not specific so its not achievable unless you will set a goal like want to loose 10 pounds of weight in a healthy way in next 3 months. If your goal is long term devide it into parts so that you can set the action plan and keep tract of it properly.

Step 2: Identify Your Obstacles

List all the obstacles standing between you and the goal. Identify resources, assistance, information or anything else that might be needed to reach the goal. Don’t get discouraged by the obstacles– they’re absolutely necessary to help you with the next step in completing your plan.

Step 3: List Tasks to Overcome Each Obstacle

Taking each obstacle one at a time, write one or more ways the obstacle could be overcome. These are tasks (or action items) that will comprise your to-do list. Expect to have several tasks per obstacle.
Step 4: Assign Task Deadlines and Set Up Task Reminders or Other Alerts
Assign a start and completion date to each task in the plan. It’s ok to be working on several different tasks at the same time, but don’t overdo it. Be realistic. Assign a reminder or alert to each task in the plan to keep you on track.

Step 5: Follow Your Success Plan

Complete each task in succession. Revisit your GoalPlan often and make sure to use your reminder system to keep you on track.

Are You Fired up????

Last week end I got a chance to attain a conference named "BWW Spring leadership Program". Around 30,000 people sitting in a colossium, shouting and clapping. This is the first time in my life I saw so many energetic people sitting in a room and shouting. One by One speaker coming to the stage and asking the same question Are You fired up??? Are you fired up???When I saw the first speaker I couldn’t understand why he is asking this question? What did he mean by Fired up???Each speaker coming and speaking about there past and current life cycle...How they become a Multimillionaire... I really got shocked. I couldn't understand what is happening there? Why more than 30 multimillionaire out of which more than 70% are Indian coming to the stage and speaking about there life style, how did they grow and how to become a billionaire, how to become successful in life, how to become financially free? etc.etc Thirty thousand people listening to them and keep on shouting and clapping. I really fired up after listening to all the speakers and their stories. It was really phenomenal conferences which changed my life. I learn how to dream big and how to accomplish all the dreams to become successful. I will keep on posting what I learnt so that my friend also can learn from that… Keep browsing…
